The museum of Fine Arts of Pau
The museum of Fine Arts is situated in a beautiful building typical of the 1930s. It has a fine exhibition of masterpieces.
In addition to the famous Degas "A New Orleans Cotton Office", there is a very interesting and varied collection from the Flemish, Dutch, Italian, Spanish and French schools from the 15th to 20th century.
Paintings from the great masters such as Giordano, Rubens, Fantin-Latour, Morisot, Lhote, Marquet, Flandrin, Le Greco, … are hanging on the walls.
It is the second biggest museum in the Aquitaine region.
